Abscence or denial in the overwhelming face of truth and facts is completely illogical to the worth of the human mind. Is an apple an orange? What is the original definition of atheism? One thing I have noticed is that unbelievers are great at redefining terms when their cover is blown. I wonder how many more times evolutionists will change their stripes when their theories, or better yet, unfounded conjectures are exposed for their lies.

When the Bible is treated like any other work of antiquity, only a person who chooses not to believe better hope Ravi is lying.

I have several arguments with Hagee, but this guy Wilkin takes things way out of intent, it’s almost comical. No wonder why his show got canceled.

Ravi Zacharias is lying. First, defining atheism as simply the absence of belief in god goes back at least to 1772. Second, asserting an absolute negative is not logical fallacy. Sometimes it's not possible to do; sometimes it is. Whether it is or not depends upon the nature of what is being discussed. Even when it is wrong, though, it is not strictly speaking a fallacy - it's just an error. We can be reasonably certain that Zacharias should know these things; therefore, by asserting the opposite he being deliberately deceitful and lying. He's lying to believers to make them feel better about being believers; he is lying to nonbelievers in the hopes that his deception, if it goes unnoticed long enough, will discourage atheism.

Thinking foundationally about the truthfulness of propositions (especially when they come from academic authorities) eventually reveals how tenuous the foundations of most secular ethics are.

Even a secularist thinking student can ask the probing question, “Great – on what basis should I turn around my thinking?” “What principles are motivating you as an educator to effect attitudinal change?”
